He moved to Athens to study at Plato's Academy, where he later serves as the master. |

He moved to Axos, where he serves on Atarneo Hermias. During this time married Pythias, niece Hermias, with whom he had a daughter. After the premature death of Pythias Erpilis married, who has a son, Nicomachus, who devoted his Nicomachean Ethics. He also drafted its policy. |

After the murder of Hermias, he moved to Mytilene (Lesbos). Dedicated to the study of biology with Theophrastus. |
