Born in Stagira, Macedonia (hence its nickname, The Aristotle).

He moved to Athens to study at Plato's Academy, where he later serves as the master.

He moved to Axos, where he serves on Atarneo Hermias. During this time married Pythias, niece Hermias, with whom he had a daughter. After the premature death of Pythias Erpilis married, who has a son, Nicomachus, who devoted his Nicomachean Ethics. He also drafted its policy.

After the murder of Hermias, he moved to Mytilene (Lesbos). Dedicated to the study of biology with Theophrastus.
